"A hidden gem. I was travelling solo but had the whole cottage to myself. Newly renovated, has everything you need. Supermarket a short drive away. Plenty of parking. Hosts were super helpful, friendly and responsive. "

"A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay and a great base for exploring the Argyle coast. The hosts are extraordinarily nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay great. The place is cozy, right down the road from a lovely pub and restaurant, close to all of the Kilmartin sights, and easy to get to towns, hikes, and anything else you could want. Highly recommended."

"We had a great stay and the location was very close to Oban which was convenient. However the kitchen was very lowly stocked. Generally with our previous experience with vrbo, there was at least some oil for cooking, which was not the case here. Also, the toilets work very poorly and required flushing 3+ times for even a minimal amount of toilet paper which was a bit stressful."

"Proximity to Oban was a plus. House was beautiful and in a quiet location. Beds very comfortable. Appreciated the owners having a website with all the details including local attractions. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone in staying in Oban."

"Enjoyed our visit to the Castle Sween as well as the Kilmory Chapel. The loop from Talbert to Killberry Castle was stunning. We had an excellent meal in Tayvallich (the mussels were huge) last night there would most definitely visit this area again"

"Stunning view across the Clyde. Very quiet with large gardens The rear garden leading down to the waters edge but not fenced in, if you're bringing a dog. Beds & bedding extremely comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed learning to play the piano & listening to music on the surround sound system."

"Short drive to Oban where you can explore all the islands via the ferry. Perfect location. The view from the place was incredible and the place itself was spacious, clean, perfect really. Highly recommend it without any hesitation!"

"The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again."

"We all immediately felt relaxed upon walking through the door. The place just has a cozy feel. Would recommend to anyone that's looking to decompress and just hang out. You must go to Puck's Glen though, which will be more than enough exercise for your stay."

"A great property in a fabulous location and very well equipped too. Andrew was extremely helpful and responsive and we were made to feel welcome and valued. Red deer stags walking past your front door, a sighting of a pine marten, eagles soaring overhead and an otter swimming in the mirror like water. A little taste of paradise!"

"You could stay on that balcony for ages , a stunning ever changing vista! When the weather is wild the views are still fabulous and moody. The dining room a stunning setting for a small family celebration and the well equipped kitchen makes cooking easy. Very comfortable house & we enjoyed the family table tennis competition! "The property was very nice for staying a few days with friends. There were some small issues with locks and cabinets breaking but overall not too bad. We did however have to vacate one of the rooms due to a problem with bees, however the owners were very lovely, easy to contact, and did everything they could to help us with this. Location is great for a short stay, with buses available close by, and a beach within walking distance, however any longer than a week and you may run out of things to...

"We had a great time at this home! The owners were very responsive when we had an initial hiccup with the heating which was much appreciated. Oban is a good home base for exploring the islands and Highlands and having a private parking space was a real luxury. Hiking up to the secret patio above the house for whisky or wine before dinner was fun, especially since the sun didn’t set until 11 when we were there. The views of the harbor from every room are gorgeous. We’d definitely rent here again!"
