"Room or hut was small but fine for 1 person. Two people would be tight. View was fantastic. Food was excellent. Great breakfast menu. A lot of uphill walks to huts but most visitors are there on Isle of Skye to hike. It was expensive but Scotland seemed expensive to me."

"Beautiful country manor and grounds but once you turn off the main road, it’s a rough single-track road for quite a bit. Not something I would like to traverse at night driving back and forth into Portree for dinner. But, the good news is there is no need to because the food, both dinner and breakfast, are sublime. Our room on the attic level required a climb up two flights and was a bit small and Spartan but comfortable nevertheless."

Iain gave us all the info we needed well in advance and even left us a lovely note and snacks as it was our honeymoon. Being able to do laundry was a huge plus too! "My only regret about staying here is that we didn't stay longer!! The property is stunning. I could have spent the whole stay inside, but there's too much to see on Skye. Grace was an amazing host with excellent communication and tips. I can't wait to come back to this property and stay longer!"
