"The property was very well maintained. Great communication with the host. We found a very friendly tricycle driver that was readily available at a drop of a text. Alfa mart is just a 1 minute or less walk if you need something. Minor details, need a few more towels and sharper knives. But all in all we made due. Air conditioning worked great. "Book the executive condo like rooms in back of property. Unless you prefer a 1970s room upstairs. 5 floors. No functioning elevator. Great, huge pool and food."

"When we stayed at Submarine Garden we had the resort all to ourselves. We stayed from Wednesday to Friday and there was a big storm in the eastern coast of the Philippines. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were also knowledgeable of the activities, sights to see in the area, the ocean, tide schedule, the marine life. We stayed at Suites A and B. The rooms, which can sleep 4 in each, were very clean. There were AC, TVs, towels, bidet, hot showers. The rooms opened right to the beach. The beach was sandy and pebble (rocks and corals). But staff said it's only partly sandy during off season. Overall, we had a serene, enjoyable time, and loved exploring the beach which had numerous hermit crabs. The pool was also clean and there was a place to hike to see the ocean from atop a small hill."

"The place is great, especially because it’s so close to SM City Lipa and the terminals, just a 3 to 5 minute walk. Super convenient. I booked a basic double room and it was okay for the price. It can get a bit bright at night because of the curtains and outside lights, and you might hear some noise from outside or nearby rooms. I’d probably try the deluxe room next time. Breakfast was really good. I just wish it already came as a full meal instead of adding rice separately. Room delivery is 20 pesos, which is pretty reasonable if you prefer eating in your room since the lobby dining area isn’t the best. There’s also a 50 peso fee if you want to use the microwave for outside food. The staff are very nice and helpful, which made the stay even better."
