"What a great find this was.... Originally I was looking for a nice hotel for the night as a little treat with my partner. Due to the Take That performing at Swansea.Com Stadium the same night. Hotel prices were sky high, nearly all had over doubled in price, some asking £400+. Than out of the blue I find this beauty..... Absolutely stunning views as far as the eye can see all round. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

The property wasn’t the cleanest, but in a rural location in great weather we didn’t spend much time on the house. "Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. Could do with a proper electric one to be honest. Bathroom bin not emptied from previous occupier. No wifi and phone signal not great. Not always a...

"We stayed in the High Barn and the location and condition of the accommodation was wonderful. The only disappointing element was that the wi-fi was not working but in hindsight this was not even that bad as it enabled a real escape and full relaxation. The town of LLandovery had all amenities needed and was only 15 minutes away. With young children the games room was a fantastic added benefit and the pool table was even level!!"

"The staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world, so tasty and beautifully presented. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a huge walk in shower. There was a kettle and a wide variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits too. We both slept well. The curtains were blackout so weren't disturbed by the light either."
