Welcome to Ffawydd-Y-Ffynnon, your very own slice of Welsh paradise - where the loudest neighbours are the alpacas and the only commute is from the hot tub to the hammock. This single-storey lodge (known to the owners as Beech Lodge) is part of a small cluster of countryside hideaways on a friendly working smallholding. Here, you'll swap traffic for birdsong and inboxes for riverbanks - all with a touch of comfort and a lot of charm.

Step inside to find a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, where modern navy cabinetry meets warm wooden tones. The large flat-screen smart TV is ready for movie nights, but you may prefer to simply gaze out across the meadows. The dining table is set for family suppers, and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a full Welsh breakfast before the day's adventures.

Sleeping arrangements are as easy as a Sunday morning: a double bedroom with en suite, a twin room, and a cosy bunk room that's perfect for younger guests. There's also a stylish family bathroom for everyone else to share. Accessibility has been considered too; Ffawydd-Y-Ffynnon is suitable for assisted wheelchair users, with a ground-floor layout and minimal steps.

Outside, things get really special. While you're tucked away in your own private corner of the farm, you have a private hot tub all to yourself - the perfect spot for a soak with something cold in hand. There's also a BBQ and fire pit, plus an outdoor dining area for al-fresco evenings. You can wander down through the grounds to the river, or find a total state of zen in one of the cotton hammocks dotted around the estate.

As a pet-friendly cottage, even the four-legged family members are welcome (the owners have met them all - dogs, cats, even the odd tortoise). The smallholding is home to a cheerful menagerie of alpacas, goats, ducks, chickens, geese, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Little ones are occasionally invited to join morning animal-feeding rounds - the sort of holiday memory that sticks. So, whether you're here for family fun, peaceful paddling, or just a good long soak, this holiday cottage with hot tub and alpacas makes for a stay with heart, humour, and plenty of bubbles.

We’re happy to welcome 2 well-behaved dogs. Please keep them supervised at all times and don’t leave them unattended. To keep the space comfy for everyone, we kindly ask that they stay off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
Feel free to bring their favourite bed, blanket, and anything else to make them feel at home!
