Wrens Nest, Newcastle Emlyn
Wrens Nest is on the private estate of Dolhaidd Isaf in the Teifi Valley with a mile of river Teifi flowing through the grounds. There is a profusion of different species of vegetation and butterflies and its quiet and peaceful location will mean all you hear is birdsong and the flowing river in the distance.
The cottage offers a cosy retreat from the hustle and bustle of life and is on one level with everything you need. Relax in the enclosed garden and enjoy the starry nights, free from light pollution will allow plenty of opportunities to spot shooting stars.
Wrens Nest is a short drive from the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn with a variety of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants to satisfy everyone's needs. The 13th-century Norman castle ruins are in a strategic position overlooking the river Teifi with riverside walks.
Slightly further away is the magnificent Pembrokeshire and Cardigan Bay coastline. Walk along the Wales Coast Path, where you'll see breathtaking views, or enjoy days at the beach, exploring rocky coves and going on boat trips. Aberporth is only a short distance away, with two sandy beaches and a great pub with gorgeous sea views. You can also walk along the coast path to the picturesque village of Tresaith.
