The Lodge at Erik's Ranch

BEFORE BOOKING, please note, we have a strict check-in window of 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. This is to ensure your safety because the area has spotty cell service and to ensure that you will be navigating while it is still daylight. A 4WD vehicle is required to access The Lodge. This is necessary because of the bumpy and muddy roads. There is free parking on the property.

Think of the Lodge at Erik’s Ranch as your secluded home away from home—if your home was situated on the edge a private mountain in the heart of Montana, with exceptional views and tucked under a blanket of stars. Luxurious comfort for your group, with a better chance of seeing elk instead of strangers.

Amenities include a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, a living room, a large deck with breathtaking views, an executive dining room, an elegant library with floor-to-ceiling built-in bookcase, a lower-level great room with exquisite couches and chairs to gather around after a day on the trail, a pool table with a massive 15-foot window offering sweeping vistas of Emigrant peak, four guest rooms on the lower level with full ensuite baths, closets, individual outdoor entrances, one master suite on the main level with two luxurious full baths, walk-in closets, access to outdoor deck, and wooden rocking chairs.

Erik's Ranch/Dry Creek rates include lodging and one Erik’s Montana Adventures tour (Antelope Butte Hike). Other Erik’s Montana Adventures tours are available for an additional cost. These include trail rides, a horse meet and greet offered year-round, fly fishing, and whitewater rafting. Erik's is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and families.

First class!

What a beautiful secluded property! This place has everything you want if you want peace and quiet. We loved everything about it and will return and recommend. The bonus is the cause and the heart behind the property. First class!!

Beautiful House, but needs updates

Very beautiful house with bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We had 5 couples (one with 3 children) and a single adult. Everyone was able to have their own space when needed! We loved the large kitchen with eat in table and also the very large dining room area where we could all gather around the table. We were all able to lounge around in the living rooms with space for everyone. However, the property could definitely use some updates. The deck was very rotted out and not maintained at all, which made it difficult with children. A couple of the showers were out of order, their is a limit on the WiFi and you can’t do laundry so if your staying a while plan to bring enough. Overall it was a very good experience. Just some minor updates to the property would make it much better.

Access to Yellowstone

Modern, spacious, comfortable, scenic and tranquil location for access to north entrance of Yellowstone NP. Poor internet access. Experience with reservation system for horseback riding was unsatisfactory.

Concerns

I don’t want to write a scathing review. I have reached out to property owners about very serious issues regarding the ranch. But future renters should know that on our seven day trip we did not have one day where we had all utilities (power, gas, water).

Quiet, remote, great place to stay

A beautiful home, just right for our family. A bit off the road! Loved it though. Jonah & his staff were great. Thank you so much for being so kind. My family loved it

Beautiful Retreat

We love Erik's Ranch. This is our second stay at the ranch. The lodge is a perfect retreat for the family and the views from the deck can't be beat! Breathtaking! We enjoyed the staff and took advantage of the horseback riding offered, great horses, amazing views and wonderful guides. We'd highly recommend for anyone!

Fabulous!

My stay at the Pine Creek/Trail Creek property was nothing short of fabulous! The house is phenomenal---gourmet kitchen, elegant main room and formal dining room, spacious bedrooms with private baths--but it's the outdoors which will bring me back! The views in Paradise Valley are breath-taking.The east-facing deck looking at Antelope Butte is the perfect spot to enjoy coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The pool and poolhouse is the perfect addition to the property. And the arena and horses complete the Montana experience. But my favorite memory is from the quiet and solitude. Only minutes away from town, yet I felt a sense of ease the moment I arrived. The acreage supplied ample walking grounds, and the stars were jaw dropping. I can't wait to book my next stay.

Highly recommend a stay at this unique and pituresque property!

I recently enjoyed a stay with my mother in the Lodge at Erik's Ranch. The Lodge has a variety of room options. I chose a room on the lower level - a beautiful bedroom with a sleigh bed and plush bedding. We had access to a gourmet kitchen, comfy furniture, a pool table, and gorgeous mountain views. The living spaces are spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved being all toasty and comfortable in the soft light of the great room while watching a storm roll in over the mountains. I would suggest bringing a pair of binoculars to enjoy the abundant local wildlife. I highly recommend this experience and peaceful setting as a way to get away and recharge.
