Advertised as having a hot tub but they said they haven't had one in 5 years. There was mold on our bathroom ceiling and watermarks on the ceiling above the bed from what looks like a horrible water leak. I waited for over 10 minutes in check in and check out because there wasn't anyone at the front desk each time. I definitely won't stay here again.

The TV didn't work in the first room we were assigned to, so the concierge put us in another room and it was obvious that the first room was a bit outdated and needed upgrades. But the new room was on point. Would definitely stay there again for our fishing trips in the future.

My husband and I stayed at America's Best due to inclement weather. I had read other online reviews in regards to the lack of upkeep but was hoping some changes had been made. The room we stayed in, suite with a king bed, was large but neglected. The chair was stained significantly and the couch which was a pull out appeared to be broken because the pillows were askew and the fold out bed would not operate properly. Also, the room just had an overall dingy unclean feel. The lamp shades were dirty and needed to be replaced, we received dingy old towels some with holes in them. The bed coverings also appeared dingy. The bathroom was large but the ceiling over the tub appeared to have had a leak but the repair was done horribly. I realize the cost of running a hotel can be costly but clean linens/towels don't cost much and furniture can be reupholstered. I went into another room to speak with a housekeeper and it appeared to have new linens and new towels. The small things can make a big difference and although the price was good the room itself was reflective of the lack of care and the neglect by management to pay heed to what customers are saying which in the long run can cost them business.

The handle in the bathroom shower came off in my hands and there was mold and falling pieces of the ceiling in the bathroom. I told the young lady at the front desk and she just shrugged and said “ok”

Pleasant staff and guests for that matter. All quiet inside. Noise from the highway when outside but no stopping that. Well lit outside cameras everywhere no sign of burglars, didn't worry about the car. Good stay!

Definitely not a pleasant experience the smell was terrible and the towels were dingy, dirty threadbare furniture was stained and disgusting cockroach in the bathroom

Shower heads should be updated to removable shower heads for those with arm or back problems or at least replace shower heads so the water pressure is decent. Also, fumigate more often so there are not small roaches or other bugs.

The king suite main areas were clean and well maintained. Housekeeping A . Bathroom was another story. While clean the tub area was frightening. Cracked tub caulk and moldings with a huge buckling water stain on the ceiling overhead. That was a no for me. Rooms/common areas were fair/good. Bathrooms get 1 star.

The water in the bathroom sink would not turn off all the way. The furniture was old, out dated and dirty. The curtains have tears in them. It is a Ok place to stay just needs a lot of TLC.

Lady upfront was nice and helpful. TV did not work. Phone did not work. Inside needs upgrade and air fresheners. Bullet hole in window needs repaired. Open windows should be shut.

We had an issue with our neighbor and the lady took care of it right away. That was great!! On the other hand the bed has a metal base. Every time you got in or out of the bed it sounded like a gong. No good hot water,mold stains on the caulk and roaches.

Bad choice
Furniture in the room was disgustingly stained and dirty. TV didn't work. Tried to call the front desk for help with it but the phone didn't work. They couldn't get the TV working but said "sorry". Bathtub and shower were dated and poor quality. No restaurants near the place. Breakfast was average.

Bugs, crappy AC and broken hairdryers!
We arrived to a room smelling of stale smoke. Woke up the next morning to a broken hair dryer. Told front desk of issue, was told to use another room, it was broke. Gave up and wife left with wet hair, air conditioning is sub par entire time as well. Come to room after birthday to put kids down, my 2 year old runs in screaming about a “Big Bug!”. I see a massive roach crawling up the wall. We draw the line here and pack up to get a room across the street at the La Quinta. I explained the issue to the night desk, was told the morning manager would call. Nobody called, I went by Sunday morning (next day) around 11. Explained to day time desk worker my issues and asked about a possible refund due to us leaving it was so bad. I was told I would have to wait until Monday for general manager to call me or email the general inbox. I have no faith I will get a call, the staff is less than helpful or seemed to be bothered with our issues. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, La Quinta across the street is much cleaner. No much better outside it’s at least clean. Overall just dissatisfied with how it was handled, waited until Sunday night to post. Will update if manager calls and makes things right!
