"I liked how friendly the staff was when I locked myself out of my room not once, but twice! I also enjoyed that they were pet friendly with the convenience of not having to shuffle my dog through the lobby to get to my room."

"The room was as the photos show. It was neat and fairly updated for the price. My upset was the noise. The walls were paper thin where 3 of my 4 nights of my stay were so noisy from the neighbor's tvs. and the last night kids were running down the hall at 8pm at night. I had an early flight home and was so frustrated by the constant noise. They apparently do not believe in blankets here, because my bed had a sheet, a thin throw blanket, and a decorative top "blanket" all as thin as a sheet. I should have asked for more blankets, but I didn't and that is on me. I just do not understand what has happened to the hotel industry. The hot tub was luke warm and the power jets did not work, which was the whole reason I chose this hotel over others in similar price range. The location of the hotel was convenient to highway and sight seeing things on my list of to-dos, but all in all, I will definitely not stay here again. My son lives in the area so I will pay more next time, or look for Airbnb's instead and hopefully have a more comfortable stay. "

"I felt that this property was in "transition". The room wasn't as clean as I would expect from a Marriott property, but it wasn't terrible. The room was a bit musty and the window frame had small gnats. The fixtures were dated but acceptable. I wouldn't hesitate to return but hope that everything is updated soon."

"The owner related the the history of the building and surrounding The main room was very cozy with a couch and fireplace. It is pet friendly and the new owner will accommodate many pets. I think the owner should have a book and add to the website all the waterfalls on hyway 138 to expand things to do in the area and draw interest."
