"We chose this location by proximity to the lake. It was clean and well appointed and did not disappoint (other than we didn’t catch any fish). Home was well stocked with necessity item including cookware which was important for us as we cooked our own meals. It also had dishwasher and detergent along with washer and dryer and laundry soap. It was a quiet peaceful location and I would definitely stay there again!"

"What a wonderful spot to get away from it all. This cottage is in a very private location. It has a good bit of land for outdoor activities. A new set of stairs leads down to the waterfront. The cottage itself is rustic with modern amenities. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with cookware. There are also ample supplies for cleaning and personal hygiene. "I rented the Cabin to have some solitude, peace and quiet. It was all of that. The cabin is clean, quaint, beautiful, and set up really nice. The view of the lake from the Cabin and front porch is spectacular. You have all need for cooking and place settings. I would make one suggestion, is to place a microwave if possible? "A group of us wanted to plan a ski get away in Cape Breton after all of our snow! Only 10 minutes from the hill, we had a fabulous stay at John & Anne’s place. The house is a unique style with stunning ocean views. The house had all the amenities you would need. Communication was quick and easy. We will definitely plan another trip back. "If you like to be secluded then this is the place..Beautiful setting with the water right there. The house came fully equipped, except fans because of no air and a regular coffee maker, but we made it work..We would of enjoyed the outdoors more but Mother nature had other plans. "This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside."

"Great place and location. Included golf was excellent. Hard to just go for a walk from the property as it was a busy road but in town for walk wasn’t far to drive. Baddeck had everything you needed and the whole Cabot Trail was there to explore as well. Unfortunate that we had Hurricane Lee come through and the weather was not stellar but made the most of it and it could have been much worse if we were in the direct Hurricane path."

"Over the top doesn't begin to rate this property....everything we expected and soooo much more! Our hosts were VERY accommodating. We will DEFINITELY be coming back next year. "The inn is located in a convenient location where you can walk to dinner nearby, although the front desk is not familiar with the town so they couldn't tell us where any restaurants were located.
