"Everyone who works in that hotel, from the reception to the kitchen and housekeeping is super nice! The rooms were very comfy and clean. The hotel is easy walking distance from the main sights in George Town and they are helpful getting you reliable taxis to go anywhere outside of town. The property has a lot of character, which I appreciated. Highly recommended!"

"Rooms are beautifully and interestingly decorated and furnished, I think in the style of a well heeled Chinese family of a bygone era. Both rooms 8 and 9 are huge, especially 9. We were quickly offered a change to room 9 because the air conditioning unit in room 8 needed attention. Breakfast was à la carte, well cooked and sufficient."
