"Great place. Very comfy. Larger kitchen than in most places. Loved being able to walk everywhere. Such an adorable town. One small suggestion: We were there to enjoy the town for a week, but also needed to work during the day. A desk and chair in one of the bedrooms might be a good option for the future. I know it was not advertised like that so it was not expected, its just a suggestion.But otherwise I have absolutely nothing negative to say, Thank you! Loved it and would come again, even without the desk!"

"Perfection. I highly recommend this vrbo. The massive windows with a beautiful view is the showstopper but the little things such as the remote blinds, comfy beds, large TV's, will spoil you. The location is nice as easy access to activities. We will definitely return."

"Very clean. Host was very accommodating and communicative. The stairs are steeper than they look, not suited for elderly or anyone remotely nervous about heights. The decks were very nice. No AC upstairs, but there are windows/door that can be opened and a fan. Was able to let the dog roam free in the yard unsupervised without worry. Overall, would absolutely stay with this host again - but the other property without stairs if bringing the dogs."

A Rare Mountaintop Retreat That Truly Has It All

"Our family of 11 had an amazing time at this property! There was plenty of space for everyone to play games, read, relax, and sleep! It was the perfect location - remote but still less than 10 minutes away from the town of Davis where we could food shop, grab a coffee, or do some souvenir shopping. We ventured into Blackwater Falls State Park a few times, hiked Brown Mountain Trail (trailhead access is in Davis), swam below Albert Falls, shopped in nearby Thomas, and went to the Farmer's Market in Davis. There is even a beautiful overlook of the valley within walking distance of the house. We easily could have spent another week exploring the area! We met a few of the permanent neighbors - they were very friendly and welcoming. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking in each night, and we made use of the huge dining room table for meals and games. The kids enjoyed the game room in the basement, playing pool and basketball frequently. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub a few times. The basement tended to be very cold - we had a hard time regulating the AC so that it would be comfortable both upstairs and downstairs, but it wasn't a huge problem. We had a great time at your home - thank you so much for sharing it!"
