Hidden Turtle Cottage - Green Turtle Cay

"We had such a wonderful stay at the Green Turtle Cottage! A few days before we arrived, the owner shared contact information for their preferred driver, who picked us up at the airport and took us to the Treasure Cay ferry dock. That coordination alone made things so much easier and gave us one less thing to worry about while traveling.Once we arrived off the ferry at Green Turtle, the house caretaker was waiting for us at the dock. She was incredibly friendly, helped load our luggage into her car (which was especially helpful since it would have been difficult to fit everything on our golf cart), and escorted us to the house just a few minutes away. The entire arrival process was seamless and welcoming.The house itself was fantastic and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, and I especially appreciated having spices and other cooking essentials available so we didn’t have to purchase everything from scratch. The cottage was very cozy, comfortable, and felt like home. We also appreciated being able to use the beach chairs and pool noodles during our stay, and we loved relaxing on the front porch.The location was great as well — close to beaches and several restaurants, while downtown was an easy and enjoyable golf cart ride away.My only small critique is that our friends, who stayed with us for part of the trip, mentioned that the single beds were not very comfortable and were quite creaky whenever they moved.Overall, we had a wonderf"

"Steve and Dolly were very easy to communicate with and gave us tips about restaurants and other things on the island. Their place is very tastefully decorated and very clean. Their property manager Ruth was equally as great to work with. We had a 36 foot sailboat that draws 5 feet and the dock was perfect for our situation.We definitely rent this lovely place again. Perfect location as well.!!!!! thank you again"

"We had an amazing time at Victoria's House. It was in the perfect location for us. We wanted to be near Coco Bay. We loved the back patio for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. It was exactly as the listing described. We would definitely stay again!"

"Our stay was magical. This was the perfect place to have some family time and get away from everything. We so enjoyed the privacy and expanse of open beach to walk and swim. The ocean is steps from the back door and you can sit comfortably on the covered porch for hours. The restaurant a few doors down is a must for good food, welcoming atmosphere and relaxed vibe. The house is beautiful and has everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy the beauty of nature all around. As others have said, make sure to get all your groceries before coming to the house because it is a trek to go back to Freeport. The seclusion is absolutely part of the magic. "

"I spent a magical week on GTC on a solo trip. I was seeking a tranquil, relaxing “back to basics” trip. I arrived via ferry and Rex was great at guiding me to the cottage and showing me to my cottage. “Tahiti cottage” it was a beautiful 1br cottage, waterfront. No frills, but exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for 1 or 2.I saw sharks, turtles and sting rays every day! It was the highlight of my trip. The beach is gorgeous and great for walks and shelling. My only reason for 4 stars is the dredging/land clearing next door. Four of my 6 days was spent with large equipment dredging in the bay about 50 ft from the dock and clearing a lot next door via VERY loud equipment (Not the property owners fault) I had a very hard time relaxing by the water or in my cottage during all of this because it was so loud. I did reach out to the host and she was quick to respond (but not muchshe could do of course) I just would have liked to know this prior to booking as it had been going on for at least a couple of weeks already. Despite the construction next door, this property is so perfect for a vacation to just relax. "
