Search Listikot hotels

The best time to visit Listikot, Bagmati, Nepal, is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.

During these periods, the weather is typically mild and dry, with clear skies. This makes for excellent visibility of the Himalayan ranges, which is a major draw for visitors. The temperatures are comfortable for outdoor activities like hiking and sightseeing, generally ranging from 15°C to 25°C during the day.

For travellers interested in trekking and exploring the natural beauty of the region, autumn is particularly good. The monsoon rains have cleared, leaving the landscape lush and green, and the air is crisp. Spring also offers pleasant conditions, with rhododendrons and other wildflowers blooming across the hillsides, adding a burst of colour to the scenery.

While the winter months (December to February) can be cold, especially at higher altitudes, they still offer clear views and fewer crowds, which might appeal to those seeking a quieter experience. However, some higher passes might be inaccessible due to snow.
