Claudia, Gonzo and the entire staff where amazing and generous! The hotel itself is something to behold, and the breakfast they have for you is also amazing. My wife and I can't say enough about this place. It was a real gem!

My wife and I loved our stay at this hotel. The property was in a great location, was clean, safe and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast offered every morning was fresh and delicious. Our room was very nice and spacious, with nice seating areas and plenty of storage. Our bathroom however was very small and shower challenging to use. The common space in hotel (Lobby, seating areas) was also small. But overall we loved our 5 night stay at Alecrim ao Chiado and would stay there again for sure.

Amazing central location. Brilliant for exploring. Staff are really friendly and it’s very safe. There is a wine bar behind the hotel which was brilliant.

I really enjoyed staying this hotel. It is very clean and luxurious look. They upgraded our room to bigger room. All the staff are very helpful and nice. The breakfast was fantastic!!

Great boutique hotel in the middle of where you want to be. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, public transportation, and sightseeing. The staff was so helpful and accommodating during our entire stay. They even helped to arrange private transportation round trip from the airport before our arrival (per my request). Our room and bathroom were a good size-double sinks and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was great-good assortment of pastries, breads, cereals and made-to-order eggs each morning. The hotel is multiple levels-breakfast is in the basement and a majority of the rooms are on the second floor. There is not an elevator-which was not an issue for us. Our room did overlook the main street and we could hear people going home after the bars closed, but since we were there in the off-season it wasnt too bad. Our room did have wooden shutters on the inside as well as heavy curtains so that helped block the noise a little. I would absolutely stay here again.
