" Absolutely Perfect Stay!We had an incredible experience at this property from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and fresh linens.The location was perfect: quiet and relaxing, yet close to everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, which made mornings peaceful and evenings unforgettable.Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Check-in was simple, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.This rental truly felt like a home away from home. Fort ligonier, while being in these united states, was decommissioned in 1766, making it a British military fort. A young George Washington was stationed there alongside an ailing John Forbes. In the 8 years that it existed as a garrison, it was never taken by enemy (French or Indian) force, though the Indians attempted to take the fort twice. The French never tried, and in fact, gave up nearby fort duquesne to Forbes' invading forces. I like to think that those spikes were a good reason the fort never fell, but it probably had a lot more to do with muskets.
