"We stayed here a few nights to visit Edinburgh in festival month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; but the standard is disappointing by today's standards. A dog seemed to have stayed in the room before us (she takes pets) which needed more thorough airing and cleaning. The room had a slightly tired feeling. The setting is lovely and it is handy for Edinburgh - 30 mins by car and a good train service from nearby Linlithgow."

"Beautifully positioned cottage. Modern, fresh and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped and decorated, lovely soft furnishings. Everything you need to cook for friends/family. Many things to do and see on the doorstep of historical interest and a quick 20 mins on the train to Edinburgh. Dog friendly area, would be easier if the garden was accessible for the dog from the main door and more powerful EV charger but what we did have boosted us up a little when we could access it.We all had a lovely,...
