"We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

Hôtel Anne d'Anjou,The Originals Collection

10/10 Excellent

"A wonderful hotel! The room was clean and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Everything was excellent!"

Quality Aparthotel Saumur

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent location in the heart of the city. Close to main shops bars and restaurants. Castle just 10min walk away. Didn’t tell you these apartments are in an OLD FOLKS HOME! Just a surprise!😂 Apartment spacious clean quiet well equipped. Central air con. Excellent secure plentiful underground car parking for €10 a night"

Best Western Adagio

8/10 Good

"Good location (very close to the train station and downtown) and relatively quiet for being located on a major road at a major intersection. The building is nice, solidly constructed with spacious rooms and high ceilings. The room needs some updating in terms of decor and there are little touches that show a lack of very careful attention to maintenance (curtains that aren’t attached completely at the top of the window, dead mosquitoes on the sheer curtains). A little more careful attention to these details would go a long way to improving the first impression. That said, the room was spacious (a corner room -05) and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. All in all, I recommend this hotel and would stay again on another visit to the Saumur area."

Private estate for 35 people • Lake Rillé (37) • Nature, Space, Sharing

8/10 Good
