"Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets."

"The cabin was cozy and clean, providing just what we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was fantastic; I had an issue receiving his messages, but it was resolved during our visit. The location is convenient, just a 40-minute drive to and from Bangor Airport and a little over an hour's drive to Acadia National Park. I highly recommend this cabin."

"Jen was very communicative…responding in minutes! The cabin was lovely and very comfortable. Our youngest son spent the afternoon and following morning fishing off the dock and loved the s’more fixings. My husband took out the kayak and just relaxed by reading and taking in the tranquil setting. Our oldest loved hanging in his nook. I took advantage of the washer/dryer but also enjoyed a glass of wine and the old school records. The beds were very comfortable, and the master bedroom was...

"Clean room.
We really appreciate the owner's interior design and trinkets on the property.
Very cute backyard pond with cute frogs.
Extremely friendly greeted us upon arrival, helping us find the drive way, and even gave us freshly picked berries on the way in.
Kitchen has everything you need to cook.
The only problem is that we couldn't stay longer."

"Just book it!!! This beautiful cabin is even better than in pictures! The property is so peaceful and a great place to explore Maine coastal area. We stopped on our way up to Bar Harbor, I wish we had time to stay longer! The cabin was brand new had beautiful hand crafted wooden elements. The inside was spotless with so many smart uses of space. The decor was something that stood out to me, it felt so posh and thoughtful with the interior design. "The cottage was clean and very nice that we stayed in. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was quiet and the furniture was comfortable. The decor was very nice. The view of the water was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again."
"The fire pits were good and the staff lit the bonfire for us. Breakfast was small with only 2-3 options. You could purchase a breakfast for an extra cost if desired. The theme was pretty cool, but the functionality of the room was not great. There is hardly no counter space in the bathroom, and no shelf or area to put toiletries in the shower. Just about everything has an extra cost to it so you need to be careful or ask before asking or consuming it. We were told there was free coffee in the lobby , but when I asked I was told they had none, but I could get an Americano. Which ended up being $4"
Charming Off- Grid cabin 5 min from the ocean in Midcoast Maine
10/10 Excellent
"Quiet, charming, close to the beach, and comfortable. My husband and I needed a place to hang our hat while we waited to close on a house and this was the perfect place! Maria was a gracious host who was easy to get a hold of, not that anything came up. If we didn’t buy a house right down the road, we would absolutely return."
"I had such a lovely stay at The Victorian by the Sea. Becky and Patrik, the new owners, are truly the sweetest couple and made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. You can tell how much they genuinely care about their guests and about creating a special experience at the inn.
The property is beautiful, charming and peaceful, and it was the perfect place to stay while exploring Camden and the surrounding coast. I especially loved the character of the inn and the quiet setting. The blueberry pancakes were also a highlight of my stay!
What really stood out, though, was Becky and Patrik’s warmth and hospitality. They were kind, attentive and wonderful with recommendations, while still giving me the space to enjoy my little getaway.
I’m so glad I got to stay here at the beginning of their new chapter as owners. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend The Victorian by the Sea!"
"Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable (although the pillows could have been better). We did hear some noise from the hallway and the room next door. It was nice to have a few choices for the continental breakfast, but the coffee was just okay. Great location within walking distance of Rockland Harbor!"
