"Caleb greeted us when we arrived on this lovely, historic properly in Gettysburg and was helpful, knowledgeable about the history of the building and very proud to work there. I love a staff member who really likes their job. The room was beautiful and spacious, nicely cooled, clean, fresh sheets, comfy bed, just lovely. I wish you had stayed there for more than just one night. Caleb recommended their on-site restaurant. My lobster bisque wasn't great in flavor and I didn't see any lobster chunks but my wedge salad was amazing. Hubby’s filet was very good. The service was very good and our server seemed a bit stressed and told us we could only sit in one spot but when I told her about my hearing impairment, she kindly took us to a quieter spot that made our experience even better. I would highly recommend this charming inn but might suggest dinner downtown as there were many options."
