"Bldg 6 is 1/4 mile from the front desk (I clocked it). No breakfast included. Construction workers outside my (boarded off) glass door at 6:30 AM, meaning I had to keep the blackout curtains closed. View of a dusty construction site. Waited 20 minutes to check in. Both desk personnel were taking reservations on the phone. Maybe have one on the phone and the other attending to the line of six guests waiting to check in?"

"I have stayed here every year for Bloomsday and this year was horrible. I arrived at 4:10 to check in and was told they were behind on getting rooms ready due to being fully booked and would text or call me in about an hour for my room. I finally went back 4 hours later because I hadn’t received a call or text and they said my room just became available. I was very upset because I wanted to relax once I checked in which was supposed to be at 4pm not 8pm. They apologized and that was it. I don’t feel I shouldn’t have to pay for a room I couldn’t even use when I reserved it. Completely disappointed in the management for not seeming to care. I was so exhausted I wanted to cry."

"Our stay was great! The house has lots of charm, it’s comfortable, and clean! It’s in a great, quiet neighborhood, just a block away from a good coffee shop and a couple more blocks away from lots of restaurants and other local businesses. Correspondence with the owners was quick and they were very accommodating to us. We would highly recommend the Perry Canary!"

"It was great. Lots of room for family and kids. TV room and game room were a big plus for our three grandkids. Plus lots of room for the family to socialize in one group and in smaller groups. Patio was awesome as well. Would like a few more cooking utensils. Squeaky doors are a thing for me and a couple could use attention but great house!"

"i was here for a medical stay. i let the host know from the start i was having surgery at Deaconess Hospital on the morning of April 5th, and needed the place to recover. my doctor originally said I would need to be in town for 2 weeks, but during the 1 week follow up i was doing so well that he cleared me to go home. i let the host know and asked for a refund for the unused nights. host asked we clean up after our selves, which my boyfriend had already. after we left and got home on April 13, host let me know he will not issue a refund for the unused 7 nights and that he would keep my checkout date on April 20th despite me not being there for that week. i contacted vrbo, and they said the host said "money is tight" and they will not issue a refund. me and my boyfriend are struggling too, but we don't steal from others. the host was very nice throughout the stay, it was very disappointing to see him result to stealing at the end..."

"Wonderful property. Just the right size for two and a dog. Truly dog friendly! Nice green space in between the buildings. Check in and check out we're a breeze. Highly walkable to quite a few eateries. Comfortable with mini splits and a nicely stocked ready to cook in little kitchen. Staff (Sammy) highly responsive and very helpful!10/10 will stay again when in Spokane."

"Perfect and affordable pet friendly place…great location for walking to restaurants, bars, and brewery! Only wish is that the parking was better! Due to the popularity of the local restaurants/bars it can be tough to get an off street parking space in the evening- other than that we’ve enjoyed our stays!"
