I booked a private room and it was beautiful and very clean. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and the experience was even better than I expected. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful.
It does get a bit noisy because of the bar next door, but it wasn’t enough to bother me, was like white noise, almost soothing. After a certain hour it becomes completely quiet, and the lights in the hallways turn off, no light seeped into the room. Overall, a great stay!
In addition, they had free activities to get you engaged with other hostel members which is nice to take advantage of.
Don’t knock a hostel until you try this one. It’s right by the coastline, there’s a popular convenience store right by the corner and plenty of coffee and eating in this area.
Perfect for a solo traveler with a wide age group at this hostel too. Definitely recommend
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, and I've travelled to 20+ countries. The rooms are spacious and beds have enough privacy even in large dorms. The hostel bar is incredible and they have activities for everyone every day, all day. Christian was the best host I've ever had and led an immersive 5 hour food tour through Lima, and during the night he was the life of every party!
This was my first experience in a hostel and I loved it! The building is gorgeous and the activities are plenty. It's got a great atmosphere with lots of places to sit to talk or work or be by yourself. I can't wait to check out the other properties they have in Peru.
Gorgeous hostel with activities for guest, but the crowd is fairly young. I had a private room, which was spacious and clean. So far only place in Peru where I’ve had consistent hot water and good pressure, so I’m satisfied with my stay.
If you're looking for a super friendly, social hostel in Lima, this is the place! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, making it easy to meet fellow travelers from all over the world. The real star of the show is Chris, the mastermind behind all the events—he's always helpful, full of energy, and makes sure everyone has an amazing time. Whether it's pub crawls, local tours, or just great conversations, Chris makes it all happen effortlessly. Plus, the location couldn't be better—right near bars and party spots, so the nightlife is just a short walk away. Definitely the perfect spot if you love making new friends and enjoying the city’s vibrant scene!
Enjoyed my stay here! Really beautiful building with a lot of original features. Comfortable beds, warm showers, though could do with more bathrooms and the one in the dorm I stayed in was very small. Lots of spaces to sit and chill. Staff very helpful and friendly. Central to Barranco area (across the road from a supermarket!) and cheap to get a taxi elsewhere in Lima. Do take earplugs - the street outside is noisy!

Camilla was really accommodating. All the staff are really friendly. I cannot remember the other name of the receptionist but he mentioned he just started working there a week ago. He was really friendly and helpful. The place is clean, the beds and the bathroom. I would love to recommend this place to friends and definitely will be staying here when I get back to Lima!
Super helpful staff
Good location
Decent amenities
If there are events on at the bar rooms on one side of the property become off limits for sleeping util 2/3am. Ask for a room on the right side..
Showers could have been hotter
No towels provided in dorms
Chris is simply the mayor of Lima! For sure! He provided great experiences for us, specially the city/food tour.
The hostel itself was very good. For me, specially the coworking area.
Viajero in general are very professional and organized, and this was no different.
Beds were comfortable, and I hardly ever had to wait to use the bathroom. One complaint would be that showers weren't that hot.
I really liked that if you get their water bottle, no matter the hostel location, you'll get free water. Really cool concept.
So, totally recommend the hostel. Also, bar was very nice, activities such as language exchange and standup were really nice.
+ to the staff, that was cool 100% of the time.
The private rooms are next to the bar downstairs and the music and noise are extremely loud until 3am. There’s no chance for sleep. Walls are paper thin.
Nice people staying and working there -> Lovely atmosphere! Great place from where u can experience Lima. It's located in one of the most beautiful districts of the city
Property is really cool and in a great location. We met some fun people in our 12 person room. Not an ideal setting for someone who wants their own personal space and quiet, but was fun for us for a few nights. Bring a towel (7 sol to rent) and lock for your bedside locker. Lots of activities offered at the hostel and the bar is attached to it- so it’s loud (bring earplugs or AirPods).
Stay away!
The place was falling apart.
We had private deluxe suites. The over whelming smell of roach spray gave me a head ache in 5 minutes. Got in the shower - walked from the shower to the bed and my feet were black with filth. That night we were getting in bed and it was full of bugs. We ended up changing Hotels at midnight because we could get in the bed.
So gross. I would not recommend
