8.4 out of 10, Very good, (7 reviews)
"A great hotel with clean rooms and plenty of communal space in reception. Loads of parking. The only downside is that there is no restaurant. The free breakfast was very basic with no hot food. But the price was very good for the room. Very quiet and peaceful. The WIFI was a bit hit and miss in certain parts of the room. It is not too far from the town for restaurants and shops so having a car is necessary. Right next door to a petrol station which is handy for late night snacks."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Likodromio?
The best area to stay in Likodromio is the central district around Plateia Eleftherias (Liberty Square) and the streets immediately surrounding it.

This area is the heart of Likodromio, where you'll find most of the town's amenities and local life. Plateia Eleftherias is a large, open square often bustling with activity, featuring cafes with outdoor seating and local shops. The main commercial thoroughfare, Odos Venizelou, runs through this district, offering a variety of boutiques and eateries. It's a very walkable area, making it convenient to explore on foot.

Couples looking for a relaxing holiday will appreciate this central location. You'll be within easy reach of traditional tavernas for evening meals and can enjoy leisurely strolls through the town's historic sections. The proximity to the Archaeological Museum of Likodromio and the Byzantine Walls allows for cultural exploration without needing to travel far.

For those seeking a more secluded and tranquil experience, the residential areas just north of Plateia Eleftherias offer a quieter setting. These streets, such as Odos Agiou Dimitriou, are lined with traditional houses and offer a peaceful retreat while still being only a short walk from the town centre's amenities.
When is the best time to go to Likodromio?
The best time to go to Likodromio is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and the crowds are thinner.

Likodromio experiences warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters. For those who enjoy hiking, cycling, and exploring the natural beauty of the region, these shoulder seasons offer comfortable temperatures without the intense heat of mid-summer. The landscapes are lush, and the air is clear, superb for photography and outdoor adventures.

For travellers looking to combine their trip with coastal visits or enjoy extended daylight hours, July and August are also excellent, though you can expect higher temperatures and more visitors. This is ideal for families as it coincides with school holidays, and many local festivals take place during this period, offering a glimpse into Greek culture.

If you're interested in winter sports or a quieter, serene experience, December to March can be appealing, especially if you plan to visit the nearby ski resorts.
