"Well appointed gite in a very quiet hamlet very close to Azay-Le-Rideau. The gite has been well renovated, has a large garden and is very weĺl equipped. The hosts were charming and helpful and although they lived next door, were very unobtrusive yet always available for advice/help. Would be very happy to come back again."

"This guest house is on a beautiful property. The guest house has plenty of space - 2 primary floors and a loft. There is a beautiful outdoor area and the pool can be used by guests. The owners and property manager are all extremely kind, hospitable and welcoming. The owners actually provided a bottle of bubbles as a welcome gift! Finally, the location is really convenient - 2 km from Villandry, less than 1 km to the main part of Savonnieres and within a 10 minute drive to the highway. Overall,...

"I must say that our stay at The Sonnay Castle Lodge was superb. The Lodge is stunningly designed with amazing facilities and the host is incredibly present with nothing being too much. The setting is beautiful and peaceful with every amenity catered for. I would recommend this place to stay every time for all. "

"Le village est très bien situe ainsi que le gîte avec une vue magnifique sur la Loire. Par contre, ce gîte est à déconseiller quand il fait froid ou humide car un troglodyte est assez humide et les soirées y sont froides. Il ne faut pas non plus vouloir y cuisiner car l’équipement est trop réduit et laisse à désirer. Donc en résumé, très bel endroit quand il fait beau et possible d’y prendre le petit déjeuner ou des plats à emporter. Nous ne regrettons pas notre séjour grâce à l’emplacement...
