"Lovely big property and garden, great bedrooms and ideal for large group. Rural setting and seeing the animals was a bonus. Lovely host and would stay again. Enjoyed games room. An extra dishwasher would have been good. "

"Nice house with everything you need. We liked the different spaces at the different floors. Really nice and private outside area with sun during the whole day. Round bed was good as well (enough space for the both of us). Make a note that there is no wifi and sheets+towels are for rent or you can bring your own. Cassel is cozy with different restaurants and take aways (pizza take out around the corner is really good!) and a nice spot from where you can explore the area (Lille, Dunkirk)."

"We stayed here for a friend’s birthday who lives nearby. The facilities were excellent for our needs. The property is very well equipped, and has a great garden with outdoor equipment. The nearby railway line was no problem as there were only about 2 trains per hour. Would definitely recommend."

"Although we have been to Northern France on numerous occasions this was a first, and it did not disappoint. Large property accommodating our party of 3 adults and 3 children (9-14). Enough bedrooms for all and a well equipped kitchen and a large loungec dine with all the cutlery and glasses you could wish for. The Region Pas de Calais offers historic places and incredible beaches without overtourism We, a Family with Teenager and dog, enjoyed our 2 weeks In Summer at the cottage- Dishwasher, really good wifi, and enough Space for all of us helped to recreate. "We had an overnight stay here, travelling home from the South of France, choosing the hotel for easy access to le Shuttle. The hotel exceeded our expectations, reception area and bar were excellent and they also had a nice outside area for drinks and food on a nice evening. Hotel parking was very good with easy access to the hotel. Our room was also excellent, very spacious and had everything we needed. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant, having travelled all day, but were a bit disappointed because of the long wait for our main course. However when the food did arrive it was fine and overall very good value for money. Breakfast was served early, as we had a train to catch this was a necessity and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived 10 minutes before official time with no fuss being made. Choice was exellent and good coffee and choice of teas. Would definitely return on a future trip."
