About this property

Hunters Haven- 4 bedrooms, 1 bath with a separate bar/TV room to relax

  • We call it the Duck Shack because it has been our home away from home for the past 20 years during hunting season. It has a deck out the back, a kitchen with plates, silverware, pans, utensils a microwave and a pizza oven. With six twin beds and a bunk bed, it’s perfect for up to 8 hunters. We keep it simple and do not supply linens, pillows or towels so bring your sleeping bag and pillows. Relax in the "bar room" that has a TV, comfortable chairs and a couch with a bar to sit around and tell stories. I"ve been hunting this area for the past 25 years and there is ample public places to hunt and farmers in the area are receptive to polite, respectful hunters asking for permission. There are a couple of restaurants and a couple of bars in town. There is a also a grocery store as well as a hardware store in case you need something. Dogs are welcome and the $50 fee is for up to two dogs for your entire stay.
