Een prachtige en unieke locatie om een sprookjestijd te beleven. Helaas was het onthaal in het kasteel ondermaats. Een storting moest als waarborg ontvangen worden alvorens de code van de deur werd gegeven. Niemand aanwezig om onthaal te doen. We moesten alles zelf uitzoeken. Bijgevolg 24h zonder verwarming gezeten in 9°C. Zonder onthaal was er ook geen inzage op de meterstanden om het verbruik te controleren aangezien deze achter gesloten deuren zaten. Ook de zekering voor verwarming was hier te vinden en stond uit. Na enkele telefoontjes en berichten kwam er uiteindelijk 24h later iemand ter plaatse. Een waarborg werd voor 1/4 ingehouden voor de kosten zonder een eindafrekening te ontvangen! Ons lijkt dit een kost te zijn vanuit de losse pols en met voorbedachte rade. 608 euro extra kosten voor 24h verwarming en 48h aan warm water accepteren wij niet! Indien Belvilla niets laat veranderen aan de service, zou ik dit kasteel aan niemand aanbevelen.

Hier een week verbleven met een vriendengroep van bijna 40 mensen, inclusief mee ...

Hier een week verbleven met een vriendengroep van bijna 40 mensen, inclusief meer dan 10 kinderen. Super leuke vakantie gehad. Nette ontvangst inclusief uitleg over de belangrijkste zaken. Gebouw is praktisch ingedeeld en er is voldoende ruimte voor iedereen om een plekje te vinden voor zijn eigen activiteiten. Bij problemen wordt er snel gereageerd. Het wespennest was binnen een paar uur verwijderd en reparatie van het fornuis was de andere ochtend geregeld. Elke slaapkamer heeft een badkamer, de meeste van hotelniveau. Bedden zijn netjes en inclusief beddegoed, handdoeken waren op locatie aanwezig. Prettig is ook dat er een wasmachine beschikbaar is. Aandachtspunt is dat er maar twee gewone vaatwasmachines zijn, dat is voor grote groepen toch wat weinig. Prettiger zou een professionele afwasmachine zijn, maar een derde vaatwasmachine zou ook al enorm helpen.
