So disappointed the pool was closed!!! The site stated it was under renovation and would be completed before our reservation date. The hotel seemed bewildered about it. Newly renovated and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, not great, the exact same 3 days.

The hotel was neat and clean and the breakfast service was good. However, our room was not serviced after the first night, and we never even saw a housekeeping cart our entire stay. The pool was also closed ‘Until further notice!’.To top it off, we had a power outage so the hotel had no electricity for over 8 hours (finally A/C again at 2:30 AM) Granted, that was beyond their control, but when I asked for some degree of comp for spending a terrible night, I got the usual ‘I have to ask the manager.’ from the single staffer on duty. Started out impressed with a lower cost alternative to where we usually stay, but ended up unimpressed and will not return.

We were there for two nights visiting relatives. Traveled from New Jersey to Lexington SC. We went out the first day expecting to come back to a clean room and nothing was done. No bed made, no towels and no coffee ot garbage picked up, The staff aploigized and gave us towels.

The microwave oven door would not open after placing dinner into it, to heat up. It took two full days to get the microwave replaced. Meal unrecoverable. All other characteristics were quite satisfactory. Staff was great!

The hotel is nice. Very friendly employees. But the horrible breakfast. The dining room was never full. People could be counted. 2. The pool could not be used and they charged the full fee. 3. The bathrooms did not have a full towel set. I had two reservations and they only left two large towels. I had to ask for more. 4. The mirrors are glued superficially, the mirror of the bathroom in room 323 fell and fell on top of the finger to one of the guest. His finger was even super swollen. They did not file any reports for the incident. She told the front desk and they did nothing. 5. The hotel has no generator and when we arrived on Saturday night there was no electricity. We had to wait and we left early Sunday for an 11-hour trip. I returned the electricity at 2:32 am. - 6. The ice machine only had on the first floor. Several details must be improved.

We were only briefly there. Things to know, the pool was not in working condition when we were there (it's an outside pool) I had not seen it advertised, so it was not why we chose the hotel, but I saw the signs and was waiting for my 9-year-old to ask about swimming. The breakfast was extremely basic; if you needed a quick bite, sure, but overall, minimum offerings. Scrambled eggs, sausage, two kinds of bagels, waffle maker, apple/bannana, instant oatmeal, yogurt, and toppings. We made it work the first morning; the second morning we skipped it.

Newly renovated it was very nice inside. Our room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The bathroom is nice and big! Lots of space and the water was hot -super plus!! The staff was very wonderful and accommodating. We loved the breakfast and coffee as well. The gym is updated and spacious as well! I was impressed with everything. I would definitely stay here again.
