  • Horse Show on Sherman is a horse-themed duplex; designed to delight and thrill visitors of Kentucky! A projector TV with a large projector screen, comfortable bar area with six stools, and 3-D features in the bathroom will pamper, mesmerize and delight! Two comfortable bedrooms with futons and colorful horse motif comforters will allow for a restful stay! One bedroom has a queen bed and a recliner chair/futon, and the other has a full bed and a couch/twin futon. The living room, with its huge projector TV, doubles as a third bedroom, with its two comfortable couch/futons; one full and one twin. A full kitchen includes a Keurig with complimentary K Cups, sugars and creamers. The location is great for Fourth of July guests, as people gather just a few blocks away to watch the spectacular Idle Hour Country Club fireworks show!

Enjoyed our stay

This listing was just as expected; we had everything we needed. Dru was a great host and the neighborhood is cute and quiet. The fun decor delighted my horse-crazy 11 year old. I would recommend this property and would stay again if we visit Lexington again.

Peaceful stay

Our stay was very peaceful even with being close to town! This house is a duplex and you wouldn’t even know there’s a neighbor. Neighborhood is nice, we enjoyed taking walks and looking at the beautiful houses and the Henry Clay estates. We also enjoyed the projector and large screen in the living room, we had a couple of family movie nights!

Perfect for My Stay

Was in town for business. With lots of busyness during the day, this place was perfect for me to return after work. I could cook a little food then take a walk around the Neiborhood that was friendly and safe. Place was quiet in the evening and close to plenty of shops and eating places if that's your thing. Short stay

The house was exactly what we needed traveling from Tennessee back home to Wisconsin. We were able to book on short notice for a middle of the week stay. The house presented enough room for our family of five. The host had many suggestions for local restaurants and events to add to our stay. Those recommendations were how we chose breakfast before leaving town.

Lexington Horse Farms and History

Dru, did an amazing job of communicating and giving us tips for restaurants and activities. Her VRBO is a very creative 2 bedroom duplex in older neighborhood with excellent location. I do appreciate all that Dru did to make this the right place for us.

Saddle Up for Six Ragnar Bourbon Chase Runners

This was a last minute booking as our other VRBO cancelled. We were a group of six runners so it was a little cozy but we all fit. The owner was great and very communicative and even worked with us on an early check in. The horse theme is AWESOME. Would recommend this one!

Space is VERY colorful although a little dark. Off street parking was nice if very narrow. Location was easy to find and conveniently close to downtown. Mattress was a bit too soft for my preference. The place was clean. Other than the mattress, I think a real sofa and not a futon in the living room would be an improvement. Overall perfectly adequate.

Such a comfy and fun place to stay and an INCREDIBLE host

Dru’s place was so incredible!! It was so cozy and felt like home. We are a family of five and it was perfect for us. Our kids (ages 8, 7, and 6) slept in the living room with the couches pulled into beds and they said it felt like a movie theater! They also loved looking for all of the horses haha It was also very clean and had everything we needed. Dru had music playing on the projector screen when we came in and there was also candy on the table! There is even a closet full of toys and board games that our family loved! Dru is such an incredible host! So thoughtful and so kind! She is very responsive and even messaged to check in to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend staying here!!

Perfect Place For A Lexington Stay

We choose this location to use for a non-recreational personal stay because we needed somewhere for privacy and for convenience to the local medical facilities. It was perfect for our use. It could easily hold a large group, but can comfortably handle a group of four (in my opinion) based upon the bathroom and kitchen size. The home is nicely decorated with an almost hippie-horse chic. Everything we needed was there and more. Our only regret is that our stay was cut short by things out of our control. Dru was a consummate professional, very communicative and very attentive to our needs and questions throughout the booking and stay. Definitely would recommend this location to anymore for a multitude of uses.
