"The St. Paul is a nice hotel—though in need of a refresh. The bathroom amenities are nice, the rooms are decently-sized, there is a small side fridge next to the minibar. Staff are really where the hotel shines. Front door staff—James—are responsive and helpful. The front desk staff are also willing to help with requests. The hotel had five weddings while I was there, but I would have had no idea—nice and quiet. But the rooms are a bit dated. I heard a refresh is coming, but it is a bit early 90s. Carpeted floors, older furniture, dimmed lightbulbs, hard to find plugs. There is a lot of potential here, but in the meantime this is a very good hotel with excellent staff."

"The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to shops, restaurants and the freeway. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. The hotel needs to be better maintained. There are scratches in the walls and the light switch missing from the bedside lamp. Additionally, there is no liquid soap bottle in the shower."

"In the first room given, the AC didn't work, but they immediately gave us a bigger new room with good AC. However the view from the window is a narrow wall. But because we stayed only to sleep, it did not really matter. We couldn't find the hair dryer, they gave one fast. Finally the original hair dryer was found in the drawer inside the bathroom. We like the room is big. The ammenities should be asked. Slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste were not provided in the room if we did not ask. Then we realized there was no shower cap either, but we were too lazy to ask. The buffet breakfast menu was exactly the same for two days in a row, so we decided to go outside on the third day to find breakfast. The rest is all good. The staffs are friendly, especially in the morning. We got everything we came here for, so all is good."
