"The check-in process was easy. The home has beautiful views of the lake however, by the first day we were there, we started seeing carpenter ants. The owner had someone drop off some ant poison, but it didn’t seem to do the job as the ants got worse and worse. We booked four nights stay there, but could not stay the whole four nights because the ants became so bad that we were literally killing multiple ants every few minutes mostly in the kitchen, but then they started to be in the bedrooms. We asked for a refund for our last night because we could not stay there with those many ants crawling around the home. It definitely needs to be exterminated. We let the homeowner know that the ants were everywhere yet they refuse to give us a one night credit…. while we enjoyed the view. The home was nice… the ants ruined our trip. Hopefully they will get that resolved for their next guests."

"On the third day we were unable to use the toilet or use the kitchen sink. The water would not drain. We had to find somewhere else to go to the bathroom on a Holiday weekend.. I let host know and they advised maintenance would be out but maintenance did not arrive during our time there. Beautiful property and home but the water issue made the remaining stay unsanitary."

"The property is nice and the staff is excellent. The only complaint I have is that Expedia says there is a full size refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. However there is only a half size refrigerator and no microwave. The staff at the hotel has told Expedia on numerous occasions, but they won’t change it in the description. Also, I was there Sunday through Wednesday and many things are only open Wednesday through Sunday, so I can’t speak on some of the onsite amenities."

"smooth check in... a few minor bumps BUT they were taken care of ASAP. Little cold on golf cart, might be a lot nicer in warm weather to drive around in. Hot tub needed filling (not a big issue) Will definitely try to come back when warmer."
