We ate in dinner at Darleys restaurant which is superb. The breakfast was a little disappointing for such an up class hotel...apart from that we had a wonderful stay at Lilianfells!"

However, as we made our way to the lodges, we noticed some litter in the parking area, likely left behind by housekeeping. Unfortunately, this initial impression extended to the lodges themselves, which seemed to lack some much-needed care and attention. "Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "
