"This is a favourite stop-off point for us. Great beers on tap and lovely outside deck to enjoy them when the weather is sunny. Good varied breakfast but many items missing on this Friday we were here; fine on the Saturday. A kettle in the room would be welcome and a bathroom door that is much less noisy. Parking is sadly no longer free and we spent an hour vainly trying to load the App. Staff were very friendly. "

"We had an amazing experience. The Chateau and the surrounding grounds are beautiful...like living in a fairy tale. The owners and staff are very kind and welcoming. "A lovely quirky hotel with very friendly, welcoming staff and an excellent breakfast (check out the pancake making machine and freshly squeezed OJ!) Suggest booking ahead if you want to eat in either of the restaurants as they were fully booked when we arrived but the chap on reception gave us several recommended lical restaurants in walking distance and then booked a lively little fanily run Italian restaurant for us. Highly recommended and very good VfM"

"Difficult to say if this is a hotel or a restaurant with rooms. For us it was the last. Very nice place with beautiful outside area. But we stayed 5 nights, and the whole hotel is closed untill 16.00 everyday. You have to give in your key to get cleaning, and can not get it before 16.00. The pool is also closed. So if you want your room and the pool, you will not ger cleaning. In our view the staff is very friendly, but need better management, so they need to know what to do and when. There is...

"This is a very nice and cosy boutique hôtel close the city center, at the bottom of the famous Citadelle. Rooms are very comfortable (decoration style is bold… you like it or not) and the real cherry on the cake is an excellent and affordable restaurant on site. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It was not my first time there and it won’t be the last."

Loved it! Budget hotel but nothing cheap about it!

"Wow! We have nothing negative to say about this hotel! Firstly, staff are amazingly friendly, welcoming any helpful. The building is modern light and airy with pleasing decor. The room was same, perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed, plus a fantastic shower and the room was so quiet we felt like we were the only people staying there, no noise from outside despite being by the train station and great aircon! Some other great facilities are there are coffee machines serving good coffee and various tea bags all on a help yourself unlimited basis!!!! Amazing 😃 and a cold water dispenser!! Also a bar open serving drinks and local beers. We didn’t have time for breakfast as moving on early but it looked good. All in all this is the best hotel we have stayed in so far on our European🏍️ tour, and Namur by the way was also nice, take a walk down by the river. "

A Lovely place to stay

"We chose this hotel as an overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk to the Black Forest in Germany, purely because of its position along our route. We knew nothing about Dinant until much later. A fascinating place, lovely architecture, a small museum at the birthplace of Adolphe Saxe, inventor of the saxophone, and Maison Leffe, the home of my favourite Belgian beer! The hotel is clean and modern, beautifully situated on the river bank - a river view room is worth the extra charge if offered. They have a bar serving some foods, with a lounge overlooking the river, and a riverside patio to relax. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and seemed very proud of the place. Bedroom was very comfortable and of adequate size, and the location is within easy walking distance of a variety of cafes and restaurants. Parking, on the street or in any of the car parks, is charged hourly - 75 cents per hour when we visited - but only from 9am to 5pm, so overnight is free. There is a lovely atmosphere around town, and it warrants further exploration. Lots of guests of many nationalities, and the fact that many of them were returning guests speaks for itself. We only had an overnight stop, so sadly couldn't experience much of this lovely town, but we will be back for a longer visit, and will definitely stay at the Ibis Dinant Centre again! Highly recommended."
