"Amazing stay great staff"

"Very nice boutique hotel. The location is excellent with bus and metro stops within a block or two. Lots of good restaurants and food stores within easy walking distance. The room itself was nice and modern and we especially liked the small kitchen setup (microwave, refrigerator, mini cooktop, dishware/utencils) which enhanced our stay. I would point out that the hotel basically has no common public areas. There is a small lobby area with a sofa and a rooftop terrace with a few tables. There was no phone in the room to communicate with the front desk and there was not a peep hole in the room’s door to see who was at the door. Minor things. Overall, I liked the place and thought it was a decent value. "

"The location and quality of the room was more than we expected, which was facing the patio. The room was fashionable but functional although the size was limited due to the constraints by the location. The sofa bed was very comfortable and easy to assemble and the kitchen was very useful especially having a mini supermarket at a waking distance nearby. It is only 15 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and 5 minutes walk to the nearby bus stop. We stayed 3 nights and the manager was very attentive and kind to support us in many ways. We have no complaints other than having some difficulty to open the main gate with the QR code. Maybe it is better to improve the system to have it open at once. (It usually took more than several times to try). We will definitely book the same room when we have plan to visit Paris again. Thank you Julianne for your kind support."

"The view from our room was FANTASTIC! 5 STARS for view. Also, 5 stars for employee Islem -- he was outstanding!! He is the Star of the hotel. There was another young man that was fairly rude and unhelpful and seemed annoyed with our questions as he was working on homework at the front desk. Luckily, Islem was nearby, stepped in to help and corrected the misinformation the other guy had given us. The spa was also fantastic although i never heard back from my email to reserve my preferred day/ time in advance. A staff member also walked in when i was in tub which was unsettling. Lastly, the breakfast experience was very frustrating. There were not enough open seats and they kept running out of cups and glasses and silverware. We enjoyed the food itself but it wasn't a pleasant meal having to stand while eating, then move outside, then move back inside once people were smoking next to us (i have asthma) and then finally moving back to open seats inside to have to hunt down someone for a coffee cup and then for a glass and then for orange juice. We were there in middle of breakfast time (not the end) so there shouldn't have been food/drink depleted. We were also surprised by tourism tax or fee or something that was nearly $100!!! The room was already very expensive and we expected the ~$20 to be paid on site but not that extra huge fee. Thank you for reading. "Really helpful staff, especially Sanga. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms are clean but very small Spare pillows are helpful. Bar staff are superb, cannot fault. Breakfast is okay... needs some work. Used to be great. Truly disliked the buffet style dinner for after our London to Paris cycle, really just very average. Overall I think the cleanliness, the service level from staff and the bar are superb and really good value for Paris. Location is excellent, ten mins walk from the Eiffel tower and lots of lovely little bistro and bars."

"The staff were wonderful. Expedia did not send the hotel my reservation but fortunately, the hotel were able to accommodate us for 3 days. Not only did they find another hotel close by to host us for the remainder of our trip, they moved our belongings. When we showed up in the evening to check in at the new hotel, everything was already prepared for us. The staff at Eiffel Rive Gauche were helpful and extremely kind."
