"We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. The pool area is relaxing and picturesque, while our gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope we can come backa again soon, "

Set in a very narrow street yet unaffected by noise, while the room did not enjoy a view per se, opening the Juliet balcony allowed you a great insight into the heart of French village life. The room was well appointed, scrupulously cleaned and maintained.Muriel the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for four nights and would recommend it to anyone. "Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans cette maison fort bien équipée. La piscine était très agréable et le rdc reste frais malgré les chaleurs. L’environnement est très calme et Bertrand nous a très bien accueillis. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de la maison."

"Arriving in a massive heatwave caused more issues that it would normally have done, I'm sure. The villa is in a quiet area, surrounded by a few other properties (very minimal noise) and countryside. There isn't anything in the village so you will need a car to get anywhere - we knew this so that was ok. There wasn't any check in process as such, we just arrived and let ourselves in, There was no welcome booklet of information which would have been a good idea, just so we could read about the local area, where to find amenities etc. People we did see were very friendly and helpful.It was big enough for us - 2 adults & 2 18 year olds. The kitchen was tiny and quite difficult to prepare 2 weeks of easy meals - but it was well equipped with everything you'd need inc dishwasher.There is no air con and 1 fan divided between 3 bedrooms. I'd have preferred for us ALL to have fans or no fans at all to prevent arguments. We went and spent 75 euro on two more highly ineffective fans. I had to sleep on the uncomfy sofa for most of the 2nd week as it was too hot in the bedroom with two of us inThe downstairs bedroom has no airflow and you can't leave the door open as you are visited by local wildlife and cats in the middle of the night so my son was sweltering. The leak into his bedroom was looked at but persisted anyway. The pool is lovely though we couldn't use it til evening as there was no shade. The parasol provided wasn't enough for 4 of us to sit under it all together."

"Wir haben als eine Gruppe mit 6 Erwachsenen im Juli 2026 eine schöne Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Besonders positiv ist uns die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieters, der gleich nebenan wohnt, aufgefallen.Die Lage des Grundstücks ist sehr ländlich; der nächste Ort Cadouin ist in ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Haus selbst ist geräumig und vollständig ausgestattet. Die Bäder sind klein, aber neu und sauber. Das Wohnzimmer ist nicht mit einer Klimaanlage versehen und die Sofas haben auch schon bessere Tage gesehen. Aufgrund der Architektur des Hauses würden wir einen Aufenthalt für zwei Paare empfehlen. Ein Schlafzimmer befindet sich im 1. Stock des Hauses; ein Anderes besitzt einen separaten Eingang von aussen. Jedes dieser beiden Schlafzimmer ist mit einem kleinen Bad ausgestattet, das für je zwei Personen vollkommen ausreichend ist.Die übrigen beiden Schlafzimmer haben keine eigene Tür und sind nur über eine Wendeltreppe erreichbar (in einem nur durch ein weiteres Schlafzimmer), was deren Nutzbarkeit stark einschränkt.Der grosse Pool, hauptsächlich mit Salzwasser gefüllt, bietet auch Schwimmern ausreichend Platz. Die vier Liegen sind komfortabel und auch leicht zu bewegen. Der Pool liegt auf der Rückseite des Hauses und erfordert so einen kurzen Spaziergang. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es sehr heiß. Wir hätten uns einen schattigen Platz direkt vor dem Haus gewünscht."
