Chalet Moulin I sits on the Route du Front de Neige in Les Gets, the first of three side-by-side chalets that share the same address. Built with reclaimed wood kept in its raw, original state, the interiors have a character you can feel underfoot and under your fingertips. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms, three of them en-suites, welcome up to eight guests with space to spare.
The living area is south-facing, catching the morning and early afternoon sun through generous windows. A fully equipped kitchen and a raclette grill for eight make long meals together part of the stay. Outside, there is a private jacuzzi and a barbecue, with outdoor dining furniture set up in summer for meals under open skies.
A private ski locker with boot heaters is in the garage area, alongside two indoor parking spots. The Perrières ski lift is a close walk from the door, and a free shuttle bus stops just two minutes away. The centre of Les Gets, with its shops, restaurants, and ski school, is ten minutes on foot.
Moulin I stands on its own for groups of eight, but it is also part of a larger picture. Chalet Moulin II and Chalet Moulin III sit directly alongside each other within the same building. Any two chalets together welcome up to sixteen guests; all three, up to twenty-four.
Home truths:
- The wood throughout the chalet has been kept in a raw condition, so you may notice the occasional splinter.
- Heating is centralised and underfloor; it cannot be adjusted directly by guests, but our on-the-ground team is available to help.
- The garage spots are slightly tight, but rest assured a Range Rover will still fit with careful maneuvering!
