"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "We stayed here for a week in September 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa and pool were of the highest standard and the location set amongst vineyards and olive trees was very relaxing. It is close to both Carcassonne and Narbonne and there is a Carrefour in the near by town of Rieux Minervois."
"It was all pretty much perfect - the icing on the cake would be another little bar/ cafe/ restaurant in the area to add some variety/ provide somewhere else to eat when the tabac is shut.The weather was very, very hot but the plunge pool provided great relief, and Catherine and Thierry were in hand when we needed some assistance. Providing a welcoming bottle of wine and some home made apricot jam! All in all we couldn’t fault it and there were some lovely villages/ towns/ cities to visit fairly close by! A real treat! "
"Great pool, nice big unit for the five of us, and great end unit overlooking a field. Didn't feel that clean, however, an it was a little buggy (ants obviously, might have seen a mouse dropping under the sink, not 100% sure there weren't bedbugs or fleas or something else) but some of that can be due to being surrounded by nature as it was. As I said, the pool area was great, and the snack bar was a definite plus. Good location for exploring Carcassonne."
