"The cabin was clean and comfortable. Well stocked. Firewood was a plus. Bed was comfortable. Stairs up to the cabin get you ready for the mountain hikes! My husband and I and our two dogs had a great time. Felicia was very good with communications. Would stay here again. Very close to local dining options. Miguel’s pizza , thatcher barbecue and Daniel Boone coffee shop is a must. "

"The cabin was clean and comfortable. Great tv options. Very well decorated. There was a water filter which we really appreciated. We used it to drink, brush our teeth and make coffee. There is a pretty strong smell to the water. The host explains this is treated well water. I just wonder if all the cabins in the Red River Gorge have this problem. Also, we had thought about making slice and bake cookies but couldn’t find a baking sheet. Other than that, we didn’t cook any meals while there. The weather was rainy and cool so we didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the back deck or fire pit area. It looked really nice though. I contacted the host once with a question and was answered promptly. Good communication. It’s in a great location. We couldn’t hear road noise inside but we could when outside. "

"Dennis was very helpful. I called stating we would be arriving very late (almost at midnight).. he made sure the outside lights were on for us which I appreciated. The cabin was clean, smelled good.. the only issue that I hope he fixes soon is that the washing machine is out of order. Other than that, all went great. "
