"The apartment was amazing - the online photos are accurate but don’t do justice to just how beautiful the view is! Clean, well appointed, everything worked as expected. Deby was communicative and stayed in contact, answering questions and helping us navigate. She was right about the best gelato in walking distance! We visited briefly in Como (lovely) and Bellagio (super crowded) and found we preferred Lenno greatly. Would stay again - the apartment was spacious enough for us with 2...

"Excellent Como location! 4 minute walk from the Cadenaba Pier to the short ferries to Bellagio and Varenna (but buy a day pass so you are not stuck in ticket lines on the other side). Also some nice lakeside restaurants nearby. Very clean and open layout with beautiful views of the lake and Bellagio. Clothes Washer machine was very helpful mid-trip. "It was very clean and Roberta was very responsive . There were a lot of information in the unit about what to do in Bellagio . She was also very helpful with any questions we had. I loved a location . 20 minute walk to center so we weren't in the middle of the crowd. Also a very cute bar a minute away what one could have a late dinner and a very cute coffee shop steps away for an amazing coffee. I will definitely come to Roberta's place when I come back to Bellagio"

"This penthouse flat featuring unobstructed views of Lake Como was absolutely amazing! The village of Colonno is small (population around 500) and very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is right along the starting point of the Como Greenway trail. The ferry stop is steps from the unit making it super convenient if like us you opt against a car. Bar Locanda is also steps away. We dined there every night we were there. Staff is super welcome. Marco is a fabulous host! Ciao! Grazie!"

"The view made our stay here so worth it. Quiet, peaceful, and amazing. We only got a peek of the sunrises (the weather was quite foggy) but even then it was magnificent. Keep in mind, I would only recommend this place if you have a car OR if you are quite fit/active. We arrived by ferry and carried our suitcases all the way up, which was quite the workout. We were aware of this, but even then found it quite demanding. We stayed four nights so it was worth it though. Everything we needed was...

Grand Hotel Menaggio

Grand Hotel Menaggio

10/10 Excellent
"Room was cleaned thoroughly each day to a degree I’ve never seen in the US. All staff cheerful and helpful. Head bellman (who is either the owner or is re-enacting the plot from “Roman Holiday”) goes out of his way for the guests’ pleasure and convenience. Fitness room could use a better treadmill but it probably is only used on rainy days (like my last day there). Breakfast Buffett is excellent especially with made to order omelettes on weekends."
