"The hostess was enthusiastic-- a florist with a lovely garden. We had very lovely conversations within my fractured French. Excellent restaurant recommendation from her that was a short and easy walk. The local park we went through is very pleasant and a nice play to sit. There were other guests yet we had no idea until we came to breakfast. We also saw them at the same restaurant. "

Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back."

The area is fantastic too, with so much history to explore, especially the WWI sites nearby. We’d highly recommend Chez Mathilde to anyone looking for a charming and memorable stay!
