"A unique property with its own fascinating, and sometimes dark, history. The design of the building is strikingly elegant. For the first time, I enjoyed a hotel room with a ten-foot ceiling, casement windows and four-ply toilet paper (good for wiping or a rough draft of your memoirs. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was made to feel at home. P.S. Do not scrimp on the breakfast buffet."

"Sept. 2025. Our 6 night stay at the Elaya Hotel in Leipzig's city centre was great. Many sights (museums, churches, the Leipzig Zoo) and wonderful eateries were within walking distance. These anomies did not affect t my stay.
Because my room had a kitchen, dishwasher and laundry facilities, I used them all. Consequently, I did not eat on the dining rooms.
