Second time we have stayed at the hotel. It is cited in a good location with a beautiful view of the Saint Thomas Kirche. It is a nice area and feels safe for visitors. It is a beautiful hotel.

Excellent location across a small square from St. Thomas Church, virtually next-door to the Bach museum, and a very short walk to many many other sites. Excellent room with modern large shower and modern finishing. Spacious bathroom with a sitting area and good-sized desk. We had a lovely view over the green courtyard behind the property. Very pleasant library on the main floor, a sauna available to guests, and a good restaurant for breakfast (not sure about other meals as we did not test it out.) Super staff and very comfortable in English. Excellent value.

Great location and view. Appreciated having the minibar items included in the room price. Room could use more lighting—was too dark at night. Had to wait a long time for breakfast order— kitchen seemed backed up at peak breakfast hour — would prefer to have more items on the buffet than have to place order.

The rooms were well appointed - including a clean yoga mat! - and comfortable with a superb view of the Bach monument and the Thomaskirche. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. As I exited my hotel, I saw the Bach Museum on my left and the Church Bach played at (and where his remains are) directly in front of me. There is also Auerbachs Keller and a lovely busy tourist area within 2 blocks or so. There is a mini-bar that is free and has four great Germany-specific drinks. (I think it’s the only hotel I’ve ever been in that is cool enough to do something like this. I’m not sure why every other hotel has to nickel and dime customers.) The service was fantastic. They held my bags for several hours after I did an early check out, but wanted to see the city in all its glory. My room had a nice musical score painted on the back of my wall (assuming from Bach). I was not expecting to like this hotel more than so many other hotels I’ve stayed in the past, especially given that Leipzig is not a huge city in terms of size, but I would highly recommend this place to everyone planning on visiting Leipzig.

This hotel is located on the same street just opposite St Thomas Church and a couple of doors along from the Bach museum. The Stasi museum is also quite close and extremely interesting from a historical perspective. I was there in August and outdoor dining was plentiful and good. The hotel is quite close to the subway or S-bahn which makes access to the lexic main train station very easy.

Location!!!! In front of St. Thomas Church! Bach statue is looking at the hotel!!! Everywhere is beautiful around. We walked to anywhere we wanted to go. Very safe at late night. Clean and nice. Will recommend this property.

Really loved the room decorated with a Bach Cantata, beautiful. Appreciated the fully opening window, the comfy chair and the kitchenette. Disappointed that the lift wasn't working, with my mobility this did make the stay harder for me.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral neben der Thomaskirche. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Lokale sowie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind schnell erreichbar. Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich und uns hat die Einrichtung gut gefallen. Die Betten waren ebenfalls bequem und es war sehr ruhig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mir Blick auf das Bach-Denkmal, was wie sehr schön fanden. Aktuell wird das Hotel umgebaut, weshalb das Treppenhaus eine Baustelle war und der Aufzug nicht funktionierte. Das war für uns aber kein Problem. Beim Frühstück gab es eine gute Auswahl und man konnte sich auch ein Gericht von der Karte bestellen. Auch gab es zahlreiche Teesorten, was wir sehr gut fanden. Wir fanden den Preis für das Frühstück allerdings doch recht hoch für die Auswahl, im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels, in denen wir schon waren.
