I find the hotel does what it says on the package. However there were 2 things that let the hotel down were: 1 of the lift failed on numerous occations to accept my key card to select my floor. There were 4 people in the lift and none of the key cards worked. A guest said it has been like this for some time And Secondly, when i arrived numerous people were smoking in front of the entrance so you had to walk through their cigarette smoke. As there was no ashtray they stubbed out their cigarette on the floor so going out you walk over cigarette stubbs. The management can easily fix both issues

Very Good Overnight Stay
Overnight stay in a comfortable bed, the room was very clean and had all the facilities I would expect with simple heating control. The buffet style breakfast was cooked just how I like it and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

Great Family Stay
Second stay here at Christmas and despite the Hotel being busy we had a wonderful stay. The room was great and the pool access much appreciated. The Gym and Pool is a very good facility. Thank you, we'll be back.

So disappointing
Ive stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoyed my stay. However on my last stay in Nov 2023, I was shocked at the poor service and staff levels. Checking in/out was extremely slow, the bar was slow despite not being busy as was the restaurant. What really disappointed me was the lack of staff and problem ownership, my room on the 1st floor had no temperature control, despite even turning the heating/cooling system off, the room was like a sauna, totally unbearable. I phoned reception 3 times, no one answered. I eventually went down to reception and was reluctantly given another room on the same floor that was also not much better but as it was too late and felt I had no choice but to put up with it. When I mentioned this when checking out I was told "yeah ok we'll let maintenance know". For the cost and reputation of staying at a Radison Blu im sure they should be looking after their customers in a more professional manner. So in light of this very disappointing stay I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Room 417 overlooks airport. Noise and vibration every time a plane takes off. Worse nights sleep in a hotel this year

5.45am hotel shuttle bus going to the airport with 2 passengers - 3 of us going to the airport and they couldn't take us as well due to the service being for park and stay passengers only. There was no-one else in reception - come on Raddison just a bit jobs worth

This hotel is one of the most expensive properties in the area and seemed to be a good fit based on location and being a well-known hotel chain. Overall though, my experience was mixed. Good parts were the breakfast which was well priced with a good selection of food options and friendly staff. The room itself was OK with clean bedding and overall the room hygiene was OK. Less good things was the check-in - apparently early check-in is not a thing at this hotel, which is a bit odd/unhelpful with the hotel being located at an airport. Second was the rather off-hand way I was treated when I asked about early check in, like I was interrupting the front desk person from a more important task. The check-in desks are rather small tables at the end of the reception area and seemed a little odd. When I finally checked in later in the evening, I did have to wait a few minutes while the check-on person finished a conversation with someone else that did not sound hotel/work related. The front desk did not mention where the restaurant for breakfast was located or what times the restaurant opened. Finally the room was a bit spartan at this price point and the heat/cool didn't seem to work right, so the room was quite cold. This hotel may work for someone needing a place to crash before an early flight from East Midlands Airport. For me though, this hotel is somewhat unimpressive and I do not plan to return.

Great hotel and great staff, well located.
We stayed here prior to flying from EMA, it was a truly painless experience, there was plenty if parking spaces on arrival and the car park felt very secure, check in was very easy and fast. Our room was lovely. It was clean and had all amenities needed. We ate in the restaurant for both evening meal and breakfast and the food on both occasions was lovely, the biggest plus for this hotel is the staff they are lovely and we're lovely during our stay, fast and efficient. We will stay at this hotel again without question it is well appointed with great staff. The location is ideal for EMA and we was at the meet and greet within a couple of minutes of leaving the hotel.

Left a day early due to insects in chair! No rebate offered for our missed night! I used to love this hotel but will be looking elsewhere! To add insult to injury they deducted charges to my credit card for money I did not owe them!

Overall very satisfied.
