The house was perfect for our girls weekend. amenities were great and the home was clean. The property manager was quick to respond when we had a question about the AC/heating system. Will stay again.
Beautiful surroundings. Many deer, turkeys, birds and sunrise through the trees photo opps. A little disappointed we could not use fireplace nor fire pit.
We were impressed by how beautiful and immaculate the property was. The house had all the essential amenities and more… making our stay very comfortable. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and responsive.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We enjoyed Blue Mountain Resort for skiing as well as taking a train ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic railway. Will definitely recommend to friends!! Was a great winter getaway with family!
Paul’s Place was perfect. Best one we have ever stayed at. 10 out of 10. Everything about it. Clean. Well stocked. Beautifully decorated. Awesome location. Everything worked (bbq grill, oven, fireplace). Host was wonderful. Would 100% recommend.
It was a lovely stay in a very private wooded area. The hosts also had plenty of extras I'm not used to seeing in a vacation rental like plenty of paper products, plates, cups, cutlery and even disposable toothbrushes. We'd love to stay here again on our next visit to the area.
The home is always clean and welcoming. It is so peaceful and quiet, but yet so close to everythin you would need. Beautiful state parks. The owners are so gracious.
Paul’s Place was our last stop on our drive from Texas to Connecticut for our oldest son’s wedding. This place did not disappoint! Everything was absolutely perfect and amazing! Communication with Greg was so easy. I never had to wait for a response he was very on top of things. This will definitely be a go to for a family vacation in the future. Seeing all the wildlife was beautiful as well!
This was our second visit at this lovely house. It was just as amazing this time as it was the first time. Super scenic, extremely serene, this place is the ultimate rental to just disconnect and relax. If you want to just relax in nature it will be hard to find a better place.
We are repeat guests. It was wonderful to return to Paul’s Place and see that it is still as clean, well organized, welcoming, and new, as it was when we were visitors during their first year of operations,. We loved the tranquility of the location, the comfortable beds and other furnishings and the inviting living spaces. Communication with the owners was easy and very pleasant. Highly recommend Paul’s Place!
The house was amazing in a beautiful secluded setting. The owners thought of everything for everyone. The fish pond is really great - loved feeding them. If I ever come back to the area, I would love to rent it again!
This was our second time staying there and it was a great stay, again! The hosts, Gregory and Ron were very accommodating and just a text or call away. The property is tucked back off the main road and is very quiet. Comfortable cozy beds, gas fireplace, games, DVDs, wifi, games in the basement, such as foosball, corn hole, a table for checkers and chess. Plenty of hot water. Just an all around great place to stay!! We will definitely be back
Secluded, cozy house that was perfect for a long weekend getaway. Appreciated the very clean house. It’s a short drive to Jim Thorpe and local wineries and then back to a peaceful, quiet setting. The owners are responsive and clearly want to make sure their guests are happy. The homage and background story about Paul was inspiring and a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again!
The road leading up, the house and the pond is absolutely stunning. Beautiful house, very clean and well furnished. Toiletries and towels were well stocked.
The backyard fire pit with well stocked firewood was such a blessing on a cold rainy night. Ideal for 5-6 people, we were 8 so was a bit tight.
Definitely would visit again and recommend the place
Our stay at Paul’s secluded mountain house was absolutely fantastic! The setting was incredibly peaceful & private, exactly what we were hoping for. We loved waking up to feed the fishes in the pond. Our host provided excellent recommendations for things to see and do in the area. The check in & check out process was super easy & convenient. Thank you so much for sharing Paul’s wonderful home with us. We can’t wait to come back!
We had an incredible relaxing experience. We had coffee by the fire. We fed the fish in the pond, so much fun to watch them jump up and eat. The place was extremely clean, The furniture was super comfy. It was perfect for what we wanted only 20 minutes away from Jim Thorpe, and it was a quick ride to town.
The setting is perfect - inside and out! The property has everything you need to find peace and tranquility. You are surrounded by trees and a beautiful fish pond with the sound of a waterfall in the background. The house itself is cozy and inviting. It is clean and decorated beautifully. Everything you need is there for your convenience. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!
The property is super hidden away, which was great for us to have a place to unwind. Very well kept and surprisingly well equipped. Internet was better than we expected, which was great for sharing pictures with others during our trip. Lots of bugs (I would recommend bug spray if hanging out outside a lot), but that’s to be expected this time of year. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back!
We were only in town with friends overnight, but decided to rent a house instead of hotels so that we could enjoy more time together. Paul’s place did not disappoint! The house is very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The owner supplied everything we could need for our time there. We were near enough to area attractions without being right on top of a neighbor. Great place for a family gathering or friend's weekend. We’d definitely stay again when we are in the area.
This house is the perfect place to get away and enjoy some time with family and friends. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and immaculate.
I’ve been staying at rental properties for years and I must say this is the by far the best yet! It was spotless, comfy beds, so many little extras such as well stocked supply of paper products, toiletries, even had packages of tooth brush and paste. The owner was quick to answer my messages and very accommodating.
My friends and I will definitely be back and I will be booking a stay with my family in the near future.
