The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway, but what really made the trip unforgettable was the town of Lincoln. Lincoln is truly a hidden gem in Maine. The area is surrounded by stunning lakes that are perfect for kayaking, swimming, or simply taking in the peaceful views. There are plenty of trails for hiking and exploring, which made it easy to spend the whole day outdoors. After our adventures, we loved heading into town for shopping and enjoying the local restaurants—every meal felt warm, welcoming, and full of that Maine charm. What stood out the most was how everything felt so close and accessible, yet still peaceful and quiet. Lincoln has the perfect balance of natural beauty and small-town convenience. It really is a magnificent place to visit, and we can’t wait to come back again! "

"I didn’t get to stay there (yet) because I was held up in my light aircraft by weather and couldn’t get into Lincoln. Under the contract I forfeited my lodging fee, but they called me and offered to switch it to next time I came into town at no charge. It was an amazing act of generosity and hospitality. I am a fan for life."

"Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! "

"This was our third time staying at this property. We’ve done a winter stay and now 2 summer stays and we’ll be on another next year because we’ve already booked. It is an awesome location, enough rooms for all of us and it’s right on the water so my sister and I can float. (Which is our favorite.) the lake is clean and cool perfect for floating. Our host is always there for any questions. "
