Gilles was a perfect host with excellent communication, wonderful breakfast with lovely apple juice made from the apples grown in the wonderful gardens. "Our stay was only a fleeting overnight whilst travelling back up to Calais to grab Le Shuttle home. Area as a whole was very pleasant, but the hotel is slightly out of town, requiring either a decent walk or a taxi into town if you want to enjoy a drink. We arrived on a Sunday evening but the kitchen was closed so the dinner option was limited to small charcuterie boards in the bar. Hotel was overall very nice, clean and pretty well appointed. "
