Great space for us to gather for a weekend of board games and laughs. It was a bit too hot weather-wise for us to enjoy the great wraparound deck, so we may have to try again.
Lovely spot! Our two children loved the porch and was so excited to be at a new house for a few days. The house was clean and we had no problems with that. The upstairs got nice and cold and comfy. The only thing we sort of suggest, especially for summertime, is a better downstairs cooling system. Instead of the unit that is in there, I would just two decent sized window units! One in the dining room and one in the living room. Other than that. Thank you! Will stay again.
The property was quiet and peaceful. Depending on weather, the front porch is a relaxing place. Management was quick and easy to message with. Great set up for our family of 5, with 3 children between 2 and 7 years old. Stairs were steep, but manageable. Clear signs and instructions within the house. Mt. Gretna was a gem in itself with food within walking distance. Overall, lovely stay and hope we can visit again.
This property definitely needs some updates & a good cleaning. The living room furniture is very outdated & not at all comfortable because of the condition.
I was somewhat disappointed at the amount of rust I spotted in numerous areas.
I did enjoy the porch & how convenient it was for everything I needed.
The house was super cute. We always use our vacations as a moment to disconnect and reconnect. We spent the week eating good food and talking. Some of the downsides in my opinion were the hottub that did not heat. The bugs that were everywhere it was a wooded area so I totally get it. The TV was also an issue zero channels. I brought my work computer so I could catch up some things so we used it as our TV for the week. It wasn't my favorite place we've spent but it served it's purpose. We had a lovely time despite the hiccups
Property was very cute, quaint... almost whimiscal & fairy tale-ish. Asdie from a few quirks it really was a great place for our family of 6 adults. They enjoyed walking the area, there was a mini golf course, pizza place up the street & the ice cream shop. Property is close to Hershey park (where we spent 2 of our days exploring), grocery stores & pretty much any thing needed. My favorite part was the beautiful patio area that I visited each morning with my coffee.
A few things the place needs is a deep cleaning inside & out. Lots of cobwebs & dusty smell when you first enter. Not all the windows open so it was hard to get circulation going. Couldn't get any TV channels or wifi on the TV, but me being mom, was ok with that. :) The stairs are very steep & narrow & we found the house sloped in several areas. Area was beautiful & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I grew up spending my summers hanging out in Mt. Gretna. Staying in the cozy house was a dream come true. Sitting on a Mt. Gretna porch during a summer rain storm and after a fun day at the lake was fantastic. The house had a good kitchen and two and half baths. However, there had been a bit of rain and the musty mildew smell was everywhere. The basement was very damp and was the worst. The house could usI grew up spending my summers hanging out in Mt. Very clean. Everything you need in the kitchen. Full bathroom on first floor…loved the porch. Comfy furniture and beds.Tv could be better. Stairs are treacherous for older adults.
We wanted a true Mt. Gretna experience for Christmas this year and got it with this very beautiful cottage that has been winterized and is very cozy and inviting. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again very soon.

Short stay
Love the location. Cute house- space as advertised. Black mold in air conditioners prompted us to leave earlier than planned. Property managers did not respond to my email regarding this issue, though previous communication had been very good.
The size was perfect there were 7 of us and we all had a comfortable bed to sleep in. The downstairs was cute and huge for a cottage in Gretna we had lots of room to spread out in. The large dining table was a treat, the whole family could sit comfortably around it for meals.
Nice central location for Hershey/Lebanon/Lancaster
Most of our group grew up in the area, but now live out of town, so we wanted a central hub to reconnect with old friends and memories. We spent most of the time out and about, but grilled some steaks one night at the house and ate at the Hideaway a couple nights too. Don't expect luxury, but this place got the job done!
We loved the wrap around deep poarch. even though it was hot, we spent alot of our family time there. It was perfect for eating breakfast reading and allowing two toddlers a great play area. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Close to all the attractions we did in Hershey.
