This rustic yet updated cabin has all the comforts of home for a restful weekend away. Enjoy the Gas BBQ on the covered front porch as you enjoy the river sounds and views with a glass of wine while cooking dinner. River paradise

Such a cool place! Historic and well updated. All the amenities you could want with the river, hot tub and gas fire on the porch. For clarity on the bathroom, we weren’t exactly sure based on photos - it is a toilet and shower, sink is in the kitchen.

Great hospitality, perfect location

The Trout Shack was the perfect getaway spot for a quick retreat away from the city. Tracy was incredibly hospitable. We had all we needed to just sit back and relax, and were veryclose to nearby hikes and any needed groceries/supplies.

Looking forward to our next stay

We booked the property for Valentines Day and we look forward to booking again in the future. Despite some initial issues the property manager made everything right and we couldn't be happier. The communication was excellent and we will definitely be staying there again.
