If cold weather is not your thing, you can throw some logs into the wood stove and warm up the place in the blink of an eye. If you'd like a fun-filled afternoon, you can take advantage of the board games and puzzles. Enjoy some outdoor fun at the wraparound wood deck, which comes equipped with an outdoor dining area and gas grill, the perfect setting for a memorable cookout. Visit Lake Wenatchee State Park (eight and a half miles northwest) for some swimming, kayaking, hiking trails, Nordic skiing, and paddleboard rentals. The charming Bavarian-themed German village of Leavenworth is 12 miles south if you'd like to experience even one tiny bit of 'city life'.
