"When we stepped into our room we were hit by the “dog” smell. I tried spraying perfume or pou pouri around, but it only last a short time and the “dog” smell came back. That dogs had stayed in the room was confirmed when I found a wad of dog hair in the closet floor.
If a hotel is going to allow dogs then make sure the room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Dog people do not smell their own dogs as they get used to the odor.
Not to be totally down on the hotel, the staff was very nice when we checked in and the breakfast attendant was very nice. She had some rowdy, messy kids and the parents didn’t make them pick up their mess, so she had to do it. Geez, parents, teach your kids some manners."
"Check in was easy room was nasty. What appeared to be coffe stains where on bed sheets. Nasty yellow streaks on towels. Beds and pillows horible. Stained nasty carpets. I would had left if we had any other options. Luckily it was only for one night."
"I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was one of the most unique properties that I’ve stayed at. It has been meticulously restored. It provided extremely easy access to the Leake County Courthouse."

8/10 Good
"An excellence location if you value extreme seclusion. Its 15 to 25 minutes away from everything. Fishing was not good, but that could be other variables in play. House was clean and communication was good. "
"Beautiful decor (if you enjoy antiques) and a quiet, restful stay in the heart of a small town. I slept like a baby, and that never happens to me in a hotel. Loved it!"
